Why The Reserve Property Watch & Concierge is NHWA Accredited

Kelly built The Reserve on trust, integrity, professionalism and accountability. She has seen firsthand how quickly a small maintenance issue can turn into an expensive problem, especially when the homeowner is away, and she wanted owners to have someone local they can trust with anything, whether they’re home or away.

Accreditation connects The Reserve with an organization that shares those values and requires its Accredited Members to meet established professional and ethical standards. It also brings continuing education and professional development.

What accreditation means for owners

For owners, accreditation is peace of mind: you’re working with a company committed to protecting your home and your best interests. It adds a higher level of trust through background checks, insurance and bonding verification, and established industry standards.

For The Reserve, it brings credibility, continuing education and the chance to grow alongside other Home Watch professionals.

Questions owners ask

What is the National Home Watch Association?

The National Home Watch Association (NHWA) is a professional association for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services in the United States and Canada. It sets and maintains standards for the Home Watch industry and accredits companies that meet them.

What does NHWA accreditation verify?

All principals of NHWA Accredited Member companies are background-checked, insured and bonded, and Accredited Members meet the association’s established professional and ethical standards.

Why does accreditation matter when choosing a Home Watch company?

It’s independent verification. Instead of taking a company’s word for it, you know an outside association has checked that the people looking after your home are background-checked, insured and bonded.

What is a Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) license?

It’s the Florida license required to manage community associations with more than 10 units or an annual budget over $100,000, issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Kelly holds a CAM license, which reflects her years managing condominium communities.

Does Kelly have training in mold prevention?

Yes. Kelly holds a mold prevention and remediation certification from Real Manage University, which helps her recognize the early signs of moisture problems during visual inspections.

Does The Reserve keep training after accreditation?

Yes. NHWA accreditation includes continuing education and professional development, and Kelly chose the association partly for that opportunity.

Who’s checking on your home while you’re away?
